Loot Boxes Certified

Our published-policy standard for mystery box platforms.

What the medal means

Loot Boxes awards this publisher certification after reviewing public documentation in the five categories below. Every category must be documented and supported by source links. It does not certify regulatory compliance, financial reserves, favourable odds or successful payouts, and it is not a gambling licence.

These policy categories are separate from our five factual comparison questions and from the editorial rating shown on site cards. For example, a clearly disclosed balance restriction satisfies the transparency requirement without making that restriction favourable to players.

  1. Provably Fair

The platform publishes item probabilities and describes its verification method.

  2. Responsible Play

Spending controls or self-exclusion are documented, together with age requirements or support resources.

  3. Customer Support

A contact route and a refund or complaint process are published. Any stated response expectation is attributed to the platform.

  4. Prize Transparency

Redemption options, balance restrictions and relevant shipping or refund conditions are described.

  5. Operations

The operating company and identity-check policy are identified in public documents.

Missing documentation stays unverified. Reviews are due after three months or sooner if a policy changes. Expired records do not display the active medal. The same standard applies to every platform, including our commercial partners.
